We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across our website and apps, and to comply with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
What we offer
Keyboard friendly
Every control works with a keyboard. A skip link jumps to the main content.
Light and dark themes
Both themes meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast. We follow your system setting.
Adjustable text
Use A− and A+ on any story, or zoom up to 200% without losing content.
Listen to stories
Audio versions of articles with speed control.
Hindi edition
Properly marked language so screen readers pronounce Hindi correctly.
Light on data
Pages work on slow connections and older phones.
Known issues
- Some older interactive charts lack full text alternatives. We are adding data tables.
- E-paper pages are images of print. Use the text version linked on each page.
- Captions on archive videos before 2022 are auto-generated.
