India Beat Australia On the positive performance of Kuldeep Yadav (54-3) and hat-trick of other bowlers, India defeated Australia by 50 runs in the second one-dayer on Thursday. India, batting first at Eden Gardens Stadium, with the help of captain Virat Kohli (92) and Ajinkya Rahane (55), made a relatively easy goal of 253 against Australia. However, the Australian team once again got trapped in the spin trap . And could only score 202 runs in 43.1 overs. For him Marcus Steinis not out 62, captain Steve Smith scored 59. Kuldeep completed his hat-trick by dismissing Matthew Wade (2) Ashton J. (0) and Pat Cummins (0) at the second, third, and fourth ball of the 33rd over and set the target for the guests. After his hat-trick, Australia’s score was eight for 148 runs. He is the third bowler to take hat-trick for India in ODIs. Before him, Chetan Sharma had hat-trick against New Zealand in Nagpur in 1987 and former captain Kapil Dev on this field against Sri Lanka in 1991. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (barely nine runs in 6.1 overs) gave away the good start to the visiting team and sent his opener Hilton Cartwright (1) and David Warner (1) to the pavilion at the total of nine.

After this, captain Steven Smith (59) and Travis Head (39) handled the team. Both of them took the team out of the bad start and took them to good standing. Hardik Pandya was caught on the total score of Head 85. Glenn Maxwell’s hurricane hit 14 runs with the help of two fours and got bound in the spin of Chahal. Maxwell was stump out by Dhoni on total score of 106. The captain was standing and he completed his half-century, but after that he was out in the hurry to make the runs. By the total score of 138, the visiting team had lost five wickets and the team was in deep trouble.
Kuldeep again showed his magic and recorded his name in history by taking wickets of Wade, Joe and Cummins. In the end, Stoney’s did not do the trick but could win . Bhuvneshwar bowled Kane Richardson and gave India the second win . With this win, India’s team has moved ahead of the series in the five-match series 2-0. Earlier, Australia’s bowlers, returning from a poor start, prevented India from making big scores . Indian middle order and lower order completely collapsed and the team could have scored 252 runs after playing 50 overs. The last wicket of the team dropped as Yuvraj Chahal (1) on the last ball of the last over. None of the batsmen could play a good innings apart from captain Virat Kohli and Rahane.
